I'm Drew Allgoewer, I've been doing freelance design work such as creating logos, web sites, posters and other propaganda for about a decade. I also freelance in the audio field working on more abstract projects such as sound effect design and ambient soundscapes, as well as building handcrafted musical instruments.
My design work includes a wide variety of print and web services. From small graphic design projects to complete websites and brand design, I aim to provide effective solutions that meet my clients needs, big or small. My design philosophy is that simple is better. I don't like clicking intro pages for no apparent reason, I disagree with Flash based animation without cause, and I'm frustrated daily by onslaughts of 37 links, 2 stock tickers, 5 banners, and a poll crammed onto a homepage that looks exactly like the last site I visited.
I feel a good visual design should represent you, and get that information to the viewer as quickly as possible with a minimal amount of distraction along the way.
My design clients have ranged from breweries to African aid groups to artists. I take a great deal of pride in being a repeat designer for many of them.
